Matthew Steele, M.D.

Matthew H. Steele, MD, grew up in Florida and received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. He knew at an early age that medicine was his calling and was accepted into the highly selective Junior Honors Medical Program, allowing him to complete both degrees in seven years. After completing his medical education in 1998, Dr. Steele completed his medical internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Louisiana Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Steele returned to Gainesville, Florida in 2003 to complete a plastic surgery fellowship and decided to join the faculty of his alma mater in 2006. During his tenure at the University of Florida, Dr. Steele was heavily involved with teaching undergraduate and medical students, as well as general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT and oral surgery residents. He received numerous honors and teaching awards for his tireless dedication and commitment to education.

Dr. Steele has published extensively and has presented his work at national and international meetings. He is double board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

After five and half years of teaching, Dr. Steele decided to join Dr. Robert Anderson, a highly respected and accomplished plastic surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Steele brings to Fort Worth Plastic Surgery his expertise in reconstructive surgery of the face, head/neck, and breast, as well as aesthetic surgery of the body, breast and face.

Dr. Steele enjoys many outdoor activities as well as spending time with his family, which includes his wife Keri and his three children, Tyler (15), Bella (6) and Sam (5). The Steele family is very excited about their move to the Fort Worth area and have received such a warm welcome that Fort Worth already feels like home.
