Meet Dr. Robert G. Anderson – Cosmetic Surgeon in Fort Worth

Dr. Robert G. Anderson is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas.

Prior to establishing himself as a cosmetic surgeon in Fort Worth, Dr. Anderson completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed residencies in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as a fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery.

Dr. Anderson maintains a firm commitment to patient education and the advancement of plastic surgery. He spent more than five years on the full-time faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and has been a member of the editorial board of Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery since 1987. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters and is a nationally recognized authority on facial nerve injuries.

Volunteering as a medical missionary, Dr. Anderson spent nearly six months in the Fiji Islands, working with and training local surgeons and lecturing at the University of the South Pacific. More recently he has been involved in medical missionary work in Mexico and Central America.

Dr. Robert G. Anderson, his wife Janie, and their three children have resided in the Fort Worth area since 1987.
